Rip Tide was born out of an experience I had where I once more found myself leaving a home full of children who had lost the knowledge of what it felt like to be loved and care for. I discovered what it felt like to feel powerless in the fact of injustice. This feeling hit me like a punch to the stomach and out of that feeling I began to wonder which side of the fence I would fall - would I fight in the face of adversity or crumble under the enormity of it.
